Where can i purchase fresh spearmint leaves ?

they sell it at grocery stores ususally whole leaves in a plastic box (like the one you get berries out of but flatter).





You'll probably have a better time finding them at an upscale grocery store or a whole foods store.

Reply:Any garden center carries spearmint and a variety of other mints. It's probably too late to find a plant that has already been started unless you go to farmer's market, but, then again, it may be too late at a the market as well. You might be able to still find the seed which you can also find and any garden center. Mint grows rapidly so you may be able to start some now. It will die back in the winter, but will return as soon as it warms back up in the spring. Be careful though because mint is very invasive if you plant it in the ground. You may end up with mint where you don't want it. It is best to find a large container for growing mint.


Oh, if you find someone who is growing spearmint or if you find some in the produce section of a grocery store, provided it is fresh, you can take the cuttings and place them in a clear glass of water in a sunny window until they root.
