Does anyone remember "spearmint chews" from the 80's?

They were simply the BEST sweet - they were pink and bobbly on the outside and had a soft chewy centre. They also used to have cola chews which were the same but with a brown stripe through them!!! No-one I speak to seems to remember them and they think I am some sort of freak!!! I would like to know if anyone remembers them and more importantly knows anywhere that still sells them!!!

Reply:No but, I miss those orange colored wax Harmonica's with the picture of the witch on it, that used to be in the candy stores around this time of year.
Reply:I found a site that sells them; I thought you were british so I put that into the search engine when i went looking; hope this helps. Oh yes, here in Kentucky in the U.S. we have a mint nougat that is chewy peppermint and it it is AMAZING. I keep a stash around after christmas every year to hold me over till the next hols. !!

Reply:Don't seem to remeber them but i do remember Pacers which were spearmint but a totally different shape! they came in a packet like Opal Fruits (ah the days before Starburst) but it was green. the mints were the same shape and consitancy as opal fruits but they were light green with dark green stripes!
