Have you ever eaten something that tastes the way something else smells?

I don't want to confuse anyone so here's my example. I'm chewing Extra spearmint gum and I took a sip of coke and it tasted like babypowder.. lol..


Has anyone had a similar experience? What was it?

Ok not quite what you are looking for but funny. My ex boyfriend came over and made himself a bagel and what he thought was strawberry cream cheese. He took one bite and spit it out and told me my strawberry cream cheese had gone bad. I laughed and let him know that the salmon cream cheese was just fine.
Reply:I put chapstick on that has peppermint oil in it. Then I ate a piece of chocolate. But the chapstick combined with the chocolate tasted like a peppermint patty.
Reply:I ate gummy candy once and said it tasted like shampoo. My friend looked at me like I had just run over her dog!
