Peppermint or spearmint chewing gum?

on myspace there are 2 groups by 2 different girls, one girls group is dedicated to people who say peppermint chewing gum is the best and spearmint chewing gum sucks %26amp; the other girls group is dedicated to people who who say spearmint chewing gum is the best and say peppermint chewing gum sucks. so i want to know the truth from chewing gum lovers, what do you say about it, what group would you join, peppermint or spearmint chewing gum?.

Peppermint is well, peppery-ier though, so if you like your foods hot and spicy, you may prefer peppermint.





(...I don't know that I'd join any group that had a strong position on one being inherently "better" than the other though...)

Reply:I would say spearmint as i like the cool fresh taste but i am a bit concerned that groups are being chosen on so flimsy a concept as what gum you chew. i dont think id join either to be honest.

Reply:Your question made me chuckle 'cause I was wondering just the other day which people preferred. I favor spearmint....definately. Spearmint is minty, but yet still sweet. Peppermint is minty and almost corrosive tasting!

Reply:The only gum I buy is wrigley's spearmint. It has taken me a while to decide, but now its all I chew. It has the longest lasting flavor, and it is wonderful. These days I can not even eat a peppermint. I like the spearmint ones (they are they green ones). It goes as far as I do not eat candy canes. I just do not like the peppermint flavor!!
