What do you feel is the best type of liniment to use?

Ok so as most everyone out there knows people can use the horse liniment on themselves too! What I want to know s what everyone's favorite type is, liquid or gel... brand??? Just curious to see who puts what. My fav is the Absorbine Gel Spearmint Scent! What's yours....????

What do you feel is the best type of liniment to use?
I would have to agree with you on that. That stuff is wonderful. But if I really need something better I use the plain Absorbine. You might stink to high heaven but boy do you feel better!! hahaha ran the husband outta bed the other night with Absorbine =D

EDIT: LMAO at Kicking Bear...so sorry dear. But you learned a lesson no? LOL
Reply:I use vitrolin or dmso both in the liquid I carry these and absorbine gel with me all the time my horses are on the road alot and get run hard (barrel and rope horses) just depends which works best for which horse and when im using it dmso you need to get the horse moving right after it is applied it gets hot quick so I only use this when I can get a horse moving right away I use the vitrolin almost daily after work outs and before and after a run
Reply:Absorbine is my most favorite! I also use miracle ice. I love the smell of Absrobine so I don't like the spearmint scent.

I haven't used any liniment in a long time since I found the Dynamite Release, we use it on everything.
Reply:absorbine gel is def. my favorite too. is so much easier than the liquid and smells great. i've used it on myself before and it works wonders.
Reply:i agree with you wondeful stuff
Reply:I like Vetrolin.

they have wash (rinse), shampoo, gel, spray, lots of cool uses for them!

I use the shampoo on my dog, %26amp; it works great! I've used the gel on myself when I have aches %26amp; pains, too.
Reply:I always used Bigleoil ( I think that is the right spelling). It is milder scented and to handle for you- yet affective and I could use it under leg wraps. But, I have to confess, I haven't bought any liniment for about 5 years....
Reply:I sweat wrap my knees with ben-gay on occasion, sometimes DMSO. Burns like hell, but takes out inflammation overnight.

edit:

Yes, DMSO burns a lot! I prefer to use ben-gay. What is worse is when I put it on after I shower, before bed - and then put my under pants on. That causes a pain that is beyond description! Always put your drawers on first before applying any liniment to your legs.
Reply:Bigleoil. I love that stuff, I also sweat my knees and sometimes my arms.

Kicking Bear I don't know how you do it lol, when I'm too lazy or too rushed to get the gloves I always end up complaining, I taste DMSO in under a minute- yuk.
Reply:Good Old Absorbine.. in liquid.. works great for legs (both 4 legged and 2 )

Watch it Kicking Bear.. DMSO will burn the hair and skin if you wrap it... I would never do that.. ouch..
