Colour scheme for my bedroom?
both of your colour schemes sound nice, since you are looking to enhance the natural light in the room you should be aware of how natural light affects colour. So if your room is facing south, you get a lot of sunshine but this is a cool light where as a north facing room receives a warmer light and if you play into these factors the result will be very pleasing.
Usually you would assume that if you have cool light you need to add warm colour but it has been my experience that this is not the best case...confused yet?
my advice is that your colours sound great and would look best in South light, if your window is north you should use warmer tones or trust me your room will look dull for half of the day...but don't forget, there is such a thing as warm blues and warm greens and the flip side is there are also cool yellows etc, for south rooms.
Secondly, I am associating your colour schemes with "Martha Stewart" she has a paint colour collection which you would probably like, I believe that it is carried by Sherwin William.
Reply:cream walls and a darker coloured carpet..have the sockets changed for the chrome ones and a new fancy door handle...light shades a suede brown
Reply:Duckeggs? Natural Light? does it really all matter?, you'll be asleep in it most of the time.
Reply:I like the blue theme. That's what I did in my bedroom too. We are in the process of building a new house and at least one room is going to have robin's egg blue and brown.
Reply:i have just laid some white washed wooden flooring in my daughters room and some white white tiny blue fowers wall paper from laura ashley for the walls, all woodwork painted white, it looks beautiful, the room is in the loft and so we have a velux in their and its really brightened up the room and made it airy and looks alot bigger and relaxing
Reply:I like the blue and cream personally! Very light and airy and it will accent natural light very beautifully! Very fresh colors! and it leaves plenty of room for accent colors! Good luck and it looks like your off to a great start!
Reply:I love pink and i'm glad u do to. Keep ur old colours or try sunshine yellow with light green.
Reply:Both of those sound cute. I like turquoise and brown, personally. But blue and cream sounds pretty. You could do a blue bedspread/duvet with cream pillows, and paint the walls a pretty blue color, and then get wood frames and paint them cream and hang then on the wall. Anyways I'm getting carried away...Good luck!
Reply:I've never seen a blue duck egg. I've seen blue Robin eggs though. If it's the same color, I think its beautiful and I would complement it with an antique white or cream as you mentioned.
Reply:I have beige walls, which I hate. I just did my bedroom in black and white with a really fresh lime green accent color.
Look at my new comforter at http://www.kohls.com/products/product_pa...
It is much brighter than before, when my comforter was burgundy and accents were gold. The black really pops the white and the green and brightens everything. I also like black, white and lavender or black, white, and turquoise. I think bright white adds more light than cream colors.
Reply:dark forest green and rich purple......
Reply:try these colors:

Reply:Lilac is good for enhancing natural light, looks good with cream too, but with white it will be super light.
